The Akron Railroad Club meets on the fourth Friday of every month except December at the New Horizons Christian Church, 290 Darrow Road, in Akron, Ohio. Meetings begin at 8 p.m. and usually end at approximately 10 p.m. Each meeting begins with a half-hour business meeting followed by an hour-long program and opportunities for socializing.
Some members gather for dinner before the meeting at 6 p.m. at the New Era restaurant at 11 Massillon Road in Akron. A post-meeting gathering is held at the Eat ‘n Park restaurant at Howe Avenue and Main Street in Cuyahoga Falls. During that gathering, some members have dessert, others have a late dinner while a few raid the salad bar before it closes for the day. Of late one or two have been ordering an early breakfast.
Guests are always welcome at ARRC meetings.

Suggest you put the invite for guests to attend in bolded or larger size font. The message is somewhat lost on the page and this is a marketing tool for us and should receive some extra emphasis.

Do we know enough about upcoming program themes to publish that alongside each month’s presenter schedule?
Use the fact of this Internet schedule as an excuse to force our presenters to think things through in advance. Hopefully this will actually force them to think about what they plan to do well in advance, but it also would put their feet to the fire to deliver on the promise. If wishful thinking , at least nothing is lost in the effort.
