The city of Orrville had its annual fireworks program on Sunday evening July 3. A group of Orrville Railroad Heritage Society members, family and friends gathered at the Orrville depot platform to watch the show.
For several years, ORHS members, family and friends have gathered on the platform of the Orrville Union Depot Museum to view Orrville’s grand fireworks display. They start to assemble about dark with lawn chairs, snacks and soda pop coolers for the event.
About 10 p.m., the first rockets are launched to kick off 20 to 30 minutes of dazzling pyrotechnic displays. This year, it was a great weather night for the event.
