Saturday Chase of the NKP 765

Billowing smoke fills the air as the Nickel Plate Road No. 765 passes Dewey Road in Amherst on Saturday.

Edward Ribinskas has a passion for steam locomotives. At one time he fired the Grand Trunk Western No. 4070 when it ran on what is now the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.  If the Nickel Plate Road No. 765 is anywhere near or in Northeast Ohio, you can bet that Ed will be trackside with  his camera. An NS passenger extra brings into Cleveland two cars that were added to the Sunday public excursion. The train was photographed at Eastland Road near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
