After a lot of driving around, we finally caught up with CNJ unit again, this time at Lake Breeze Road in Sheffield. It was the star of the Akron Railroad Club’s outing in Vermilion on Sunday. (Photograph by Craig Sanders)

The Akron Railroad Club ventured to Vermilion on Sunday for a day of train watching and photography. The star attraction as the New Jersey Central heritage locomotive, which lead the 287 west from Buffalo, N.Y. We had to go to Avon Lake and Sheffield to get it, but we did.
