The dials on the wayback machine are set for late 1973. Penn Central has been around now for more than five years.
We’ve landed at the New York Central engine facility in Collinwood Yard in Cleveland and we’re not surprised to find that everything in sight has PC markings and colors.
Penn Central locomotives were not colorful just utilitarian. And yet we’d like to go back to that time even if for one day to see F units once again pulling trains.
