Canton Company Releases Anti-icing Products for Railroads

A Canton company has introduced a rail switch ice prevention system designed for winter use.

Midwest Industrial Supply has also created a third-rail anti-icing and de-icing system.

In a news release, the company said both systems are been shown to be capable of working in temperates from zero to minus 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

The rail switch ice prevention system includes an anti-icing agent and custom applicator, as well as track and switch brooms.

The third rail anti-icing and deicing system includes an anti-icing agent and spray system. The company also offers a liquid ice melter.
