Corman Names New VP of Operations

Eric Hosey has been named vice president of operations of R.J. Corman Railroad Group.

In a news release, Corman said Hosey will direct development and implementation of transportation plans and safety initiatives for the company’s short line railroads.

Hosey has 27 years of rail industry experience in a variety of positions.

He began his railroad career with Norfolk Southern in 1994 before moving on to Amtrak.

Hosey then spent about five years in the regional freight-rail sector serving as vice president of the northeast region for Genesee & Wyoming before returning to Amtrak as assistant vice presidents of transportation-Southwest Division.

Most recently, he served as chief operating officer at Metrolink in Los Angeles since 2019.
