USDOT Campaign Promotes Mask Wearing

A publicity campaign seeking to get travelers to wear facial masks has been launched by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

In a news release, USDOT said the “Mask Up” campaign seeks to make the case that wearing a mask is essential for the safety of transportation workers.

The campaign involves the agency’s various bodies, including the Federal Railroad Administration and Federal Transit Administration.

The campaign’s centerpiece is a digital toolkit that includes posters, social media materials, FAQs, and other resources.
