In Memory of Carl Ehmann

Former Akron Railroad Club member Carl Ernest Ehmann has died. He was 90.

Mr. Ehmann, of Cuyahoga Falls, joined the ARRC in April 1998. He passed away on May 6.

Born in Mt. Vernon, New York, Mr. Ehmann lived in Cuyahoga Falls for more than 68 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Goodyear Aerospace.

He also had 30 years of service with the Aid Association for Lutherans. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church for the past 68 years.

Mr. Ehmann also belonged to the Canal Society of Ohio and the Lighter-Than-Air Society. He is survived by two sons, Carl and Chris; a daughter, Heidi Wojcik (Paul); three grandsons and one granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice (Breden); a brother, Roger, and a sister, Virginia.
