Looking Like Fall at Pawnee

Pawnee has long been a railfan photographer favorite spot. There can be some striking fall foliage and at one time a pair of Baltimore & Ohio color position signals stood here. Shown is a westbound CSX train pulled by a pair of Helm Leasing units in their attractive blue livery with white chevron stripes on the nose. The train was photographed on Oct. 6, 2011, just as the leaves were starting to turn.
