It Was Much More Open Then

A former Western Maryland locomotive leads a westbound in Clinton in February 1980. For those who know how much the trees have grown at this location today note how open the view was more than four decades ago..The crossover allowed Conrail trains to access the ex-Pennsylvania Railroad line to Columbus.
