Indiana Port Has New Operating Company

Superior River Terminals Indiana is now the general cargo terminal operator of the Ports of Indiana-Jeffersonville facility.

Known as Indiana Cargo Crossroads, the site is served by CSX and the Louisville & Indiana Railroad.

Superior provides stevedoring and distribution services to the terminal’s customers for the terminal located on 10 acres next to the Ohio River.

Facilities at the terminal include two barge docks, a 131,000-square-foot warehouse, and a 35-ton overhead crane for all-weather transloading.

Superior is a subsidiary of Lake Superior Warehousing Company.
