CVSR to Hold Volunteer Fair on Sunday

The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad will hold a volunteer fair on Sunday (March 6) at the Quality Inn & Suites in Richfield.

The railroad is seeking additional volunteers to work aboard its trains in various capacities and will have information about those positions at the fair.

Those jobs include conductors, trainmen, maintenance workers and special event positions.

The event will be held between noon and 3 p.m. at the motel located at 4742 Brecksville Road.

Current volunteers will be on hand to speak about their work for the railroad.

In announcing the event, CVSR said it has a volunteer base of more than 1,200 who commit more than 100,000 hours annually.
