The Akron Railroad Club will hold its annual member’s night and pizza party on Saturday (March 26) in the social hall of the New Horizons Christian Church, 290 Darrow Road, in Akron.
Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. and pizza will be served starting at 6:30 p.m. Presentations will get underway at approximately 7 p.m.
There will be no business meeting this month. Attendees will be asked to pay a $5 cover charge to defray the cost of the pizza.
Attendees are also encouraged to bring their favorite non-alcoholic beverages and pretzels or potato chips. A limited supply of soft drinks and water will be provided.
Those presenting are asked to limit their presentations to 35 to 45 images or about a 10 to 12 minute presentation.
Digital images should be contained on a USB device while slides should be contained in a Kodak carousel tray.
