EL Monday: One Morning in Kent

It is winter in Kent somewhere between 1967 and 1969. Erie Lackawanna E8A No. 828 is on the point of the westbound Lake Cities as it stops at the passenger station barely seen behind the tree on the right. Some passengers probably are enjoying breakfast in the dining car. The 828 was built for the Erie in February 1951. It would not work for any other railroad after the EL was placed into Conrail in 1976.
