


Due to erosion of the bank of the Cuyahoga River, the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad won’t be visiting Akron for a while.
Here are three views taken on Oct. 8 on the bridge over the remains of the Ohio & Erie Canal.
We see southbound CVSR FPA-4 No. 6771 and the car celebrating the 50th year of the founding of the parent organization of the CVSR.
Also shown are the ex-California Zephyr dome observation car Silver Solarium and FPA-4 No. 6777 being towed south into Akron.
