CNJ Motive Power in Akron

This is not a heritage unit, it’s the real deal and at the time it was probably a big deal to see a Central Railroad of New Jersey locomotive in Akron. CNJ SD35 No. 2501 was in town in October 1976. The unit was built in May 1965 and would eventually be part of the Conrail motive power roster.
