The Cass Scenic Railroad operated all five of its operational Shay locomotives last weekend during its fifth annual parade of steam.
The event drew 3,000 to Cass, West Virginia. The locomotives operated separately and jointly, including a grand finale featuring all five Shays coupled together running with their whistles tied down past a water tank and back to the station.
The event featured public excursions, photo shoots, entertainers and railroad artifact vendors.
