Container Terminal Program Set in Indiana

Ports of Indiana plans to launch a program to develop international container terminals.

In a news release, the ports said the program will pursue the development of international container terminals within Ports of Indiana’s facilities and other Indiana locations.

This also will include seeking regulatory approvals necessary to establish container facilities along Lake Michigan, the Ohio River and at other locations.

Some funding of the program is expected to be sought through federal grants or public/private partnerships.
