Berea Train Show is This Weekend

The 48th Great Berea Train Show will be held Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 1 and 2) at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.

Admission is $8 per person with a two-day passing available for $10. Children under age 18 are admitted free with the purchase of an adult admission.

More than 700 vendor and display tables will be set up over building offering for display or sale various railroad and model railroad artifacts. Several operating model railroad layouts will be in operation.

Five model railroad clinics will be offered on Saturday and three on Sunday offering tips on layout scenery techniques and how to care for and maintain locomotives and rolling stock.

The entrance to the fairgrounds is located at 19201 Bagley Road in Middleburg Heights. Parking is free and food vendors will be on site.

The show is presented by North Coast Division (Division 4) of the National Model Railroad Association. The division covers Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Erie and Huron counties in Ohio.

The Great Berea Train Show will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Middleburg Heights-Berea.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. Admission is $8 with children under 18 admitted free with a paid adult admission. A two-day pass is available for $10.

The show features 700 vendor and display tables with dealers selling model railroad supplies and equipment as. There will also be sellers of railroad memorabilia and railroad historical societies. Several model railroad layouts will be in operation.

The event is sponsored by the North Coast Division (Division 4) of the Mid-Central Region of the National Model Railroad Association. This year marks the 47th year of the event although the 2020 show was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2020 Berea Train Show Canceled

The 2020 Great Berea Train show has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show, typically held in early October, will next be held on Oct. 2 and 3, 2021, at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea.

In a message posted online, the show management said it weighed all of the pros and cons and how those would affect vendors, attendees, and everyone else involved before making the decision to cancel.

The 2021 show will be the 47th year the event has been held.

The Berea train show is presented by the North Coast Division of the Mid-Central Region of the National Model Railroad Association.

Berea Train Show Is This Weekend

The Great Berea Train Show will be held this Saturday and Sunday at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds at 19201E. Bagley Road.

Admission is $8 for one day and $10 for a two-day pass. Children under age 16 will be admitted for free when accompanied by an adult.

The event hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. There is ample free parking on site and the event is handicap accessible. Food and beverages will be sold at the event.

Now in its 46th year, the train show is expected to feature nearly 600 tables in five buildings.

On hand will be dealers selling model railroad equipment, railroad historical societies and membership groups, and vendors of railroad memorabilia.

There will be multiple operating model railroad layouts hosted by the various model railroad clubs in Greater Cleveland.

New this year will be a Kid Zone operated by the STEM team of the Great Lakes Science Center.

The train show is sponsored by Mid Central Region Division 4 of the National Model Railroad Association.

ARRC to Have Table at Berea Train Show

The Akron Railroad Club will again have a table at the Great Berea Train Show that is being held on Saturday and Sunday at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea.

The show will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days and feature more than 400 dealer tables in four buildings. There will be at least five operating model railroad layouts.

Admission is $8 with a two-day pass available for $10. Parking is free.

The show, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, is sponsored by the Mid Central Region Division 4 of the National Model Railroad Association.

The Fairgrounds entrance is located at 19201 East Bagley Road in Middleburg Heights.

The ARRC table will have for sale books, videos, railfan magazines and various railroadiana items.

Admission is $8 for adults with children under 16 free when accompanied by an adult. A two-day pass is available for $10.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $7.50 per person with a $10 two day pass available. Those under age 16 will be admitted for free.

The show, sponsored by Division 4 of the North Central Region of the National Model Railroad Association will feature more than 300 tables and five model railroad club layouts.

Eight-eight dealers have signed up for tables along with eight railroad clubs and historical societies. The show is spread over four buildings and food vendors will be available.

The fairgrounds is located at 164 Eastland Road in Berea. The show is in its 42nd year.
