Short line railroad operator OmniTRAX has hired a new chief financial officer.
Robert Walker was appointed to the position after spending 10 years as chief operating and financial officer at The Madison Companies where his responsibilities included oversight of accounting, finance, tax, financial planning, treasury, human resources and information technology functions.
Walker also served as executive vice president and CFO of property operations and redevelopment at Apartment Investment and Management; senior vice president and CFO for Miller Global Properties; global controller for GE Capital Real Estate; and served in an audit and advisory services role at Ernst & Young.
He will report to Chief Executive Officer Kevin Shuba.
