Reading Museum Lands State Grant

The state of Pennsylvania has awarded a $100,000 grant to the Reading Railroad Heritage Museum that will be used to renovate its facilities.

This will include the purchase of ties and other materials for the construction of tracks into the museum’s recently completed railcar protection building.

Other projects include construction of a replica of Race Street tower; creating a display of artifacts from that tower; and expand restroom facilities and improving signs on the museum tour route.
