Carnival Train to Run in Buffalo in August

A carnival train will return to the rails in August in Buffalo, New York.

CSX and James E. Strates Shows reached an agreement to allow the train to operate for the first time since 2019.

Plans are to move the train from its Florida base to Buffalo in the consist of a regular CSX manifest freight.

The carnival train will then move on its own on the Buffalo Southern to the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, New York.

The dates and other details of the carnival train’s move will be announced later. However, the fair runs from Aug. 7-18.
