CSX VP Lonegro Leave the Company

CSX Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Frank Lonegro has left the company.

No reason for given for his departure from the carrier that he has served since 1999. During his time at CSX, Lonegro also held the posts of vice president of CSX Technology, vice president of mechanical, VP of internal audit and associate general counsel.

He was one of the holdover senior managers who continued during the administrations of E. Hunter Harrison and Michael Ward.

While CSX conducts a search for Lonegro’s replacement, Vice President of Marketing and Strategy Kevin Boone will serve as interim CFO, company officials said in a press release.

Boone joined CSX in September 2017 as VP of corporate and chief investor relations officer.
