One Day at the Canton PRR Station

Here is a series of image of Penn Central’s westbound Fort Pitt in Canton on May 30, 1968. On the point is former Pennsylvania Railroad E8A No. 4309.

Built in January 1951, it also would later work for Amtrak and the Juniata Terminal, which gave it back its original Pennsy livery.

The train is shown approaching the passenger station, having passed the photographer and then stopped, and another view of the head end before the train departed for Chicago.
